Stephen Ministry is an expression of Christ’s love that brings compassionate, confidential care to people facing grief, illness, loneliness, or life transitions. Trained lay caregivers listen without judgment, pray alongside those they serve, and walk with them through hardship, offering one-to-one care that is free, confidential, and available for as long as it is needed. Rooted in Christian belief, this ministry provides a safe, nonjudgmental relationship in which faith, trust, and emotional and spiritual support help transform crisis into opportunity—allowing for space and grace for individuals not only to survive difficulty but to find hope, healing, strengthened faith, and renewed connection with God and community.
